Deputy Consul General Zhang Huazhong attended the Chinese Strategy Workshop of Angus

On 15 January, Deputy Consul General Mr.Zhang Huazhong attended Chinese Strategy Workshop of Angus, and made a presentation on China's national conditions. Angus Council leader Ian Gaul, Lord Provost Helen Oswald, Chief Executive Officer Richard Stiff, heads of Angus Economic Development Bureau, Education Bureau and other government officials attended the workshop. Consular Attache Mr. Zhu Ge attended as well.

The workshop focused on pragmatic exchanges and cooperation. Mr.Richard Stiff and Head of Economic Development Ms. Alison Smith spoke on behalf of the city of Angus. They introduced the latest framework of foreign cooperation prospects and their own strengths and highlights. Meanwhile China is one of the three key regions of foreign cooperation of Angus. Deputy Consul General Zhang made a presentation to the participants on behalf of the Consulate General of China. In 50 minutes time, Deputy Consul General Zhang briefly introduced China's basic national conditions, focusing on the Chinese government structures at all levels and government responsibility, economic division and industry planning, and business development opportunities which Angus is urgently needed to carry out cooperation with China, especially briefed them about China dream and the Decision of Comprehensively deepening Reforms by the 3rd Plenary Session of 18th C.P.C.Central Committee. After the introduction, the Deputy Consul General Zhang answered questions raised by the participants. The workshop ended with warm interactions.
