It enriches the curriculum of schools including George Watson’s College and others by providing high quality Chinese teaching and a range of cultural opportunities. The Mandarin Chinese Education in Scotland developed rapidly, making Scotland's coverage of Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms one of the world's highest. Mandarin has been included in foreign language programs by many local schools with more than 3,4000 students studying it in both primary and secondary schools.
